LUXE Homepage Takeover Guidelines

Learn how to prepare your partner content for LUXE Interiors + Design homepage takeovers with best practices on image quality, copy guidelines, and submission requirements.

After your media plan or contract is finalized, our project management team will create a unique submission form for your campaign. They will contact to you by email with the due date and a link to upload materials. The Homepage Takeover + First Impression (HPFI) is the most prominent advertising placement on luxesource.com. Content is recommended to align with the LUXE voice and focus on a theme that is relevant, informative, and engaging for the audience.

📑 Assets required for your submission form

The First Impression leaderboard is a custom-built banner developed by the LUXE creative team and the ROS banners are client supplied creatives. To create the leaderboard and set up your homepage takeover, the following assets are needed:

  • Leaderboard Images: 3 images without copy or branding for the leaderboard design
  • Company Logo: branding for the leaderboard design
  • Copy: preferred text and CTA for the leaderboard design
  • URL: website link for banner click throughs
  • Banner: 970x250px (client supplied creative)
  • Mobile Banner: 300x250px (client supplied creative)

🖼️ What you need to know about image quality

As a best practice, images should be professionally shot, showcasing lifestyle or room settings with bright colors and unique interior or architectural features. If the background of your ROS banner ads are white, please add a 1x1 pixel border to enhance visibility.

🔗 Guidelines regarding content and links

The First Impression leaderboard, designed by the LUXE creative team, features a standard template positioning the logo, copy and CTA on the left side of the layout and images rotating on the right side. A video file or gif can be used in place of still images. Videos should be horizontal 1920x1080px, in mp4 format, and under 15 seconds in length. The designer will coordinate the color and styling with the accompanying ROS banners submitted. 

ROS banner creatives should feature a company logo and limited text displayed in a large, easy-to-read font. It is recommended to include a CTA consisting of 2 to 4 words. UTM links are accepted. The custom leaderboard banner is site served, third-party site served tags are accepted for ROS banners only.

The homepage takeover will be roadblocked 100% of the time and the first impression runs on all other pages that a user may enter the site on with a frequency capped at once every 24 hours. After the completion of your campaign, your Sales Director will touch base with you directly with reporting.

The homepage takeover banners are indexed as advertising. Please note that ad blockers or specific network settings on your device may hinder the display of these ads. To ensure the banner loads correctly on the website, the viewer may need to disable these settings.
